Corvette team did a superb job

My thinking here is: GM occasionally monitors online forums, so if owners register a similar complaint about something, maybe it will encourage them to look into the issue and address it. That's where I'm coming from.
As I figured and quite smart. Price is right, too.
A good friend (2000 Z-51 C-5 owner) 'picked my brain' the other day as he will buy a C-6.
First:
I think the Corvette team did a superb job in this new iteration. Absolutely; none better. I felt the 'personalization' of the car was much easier than the 7465Li. The tranny I want is coming.
1) I found the seats uncomfortable after about hour, despite my best efforts to adapt them to me.
2) The rear visibility leaves a lot unseen, as you already know.
3) I don't like the combo of the touch screen and no steering wheel or other buttons for common and simple tasks such as audio selections while navigating. Buick learned the market failure of touchscreens years ago. In such a responsive car, this is more important; eyes on the road, etc. Voice commands just don't do it for me. As a result, my next one won't have the NAV.
4) The factory polished wheels are a poor effort. I'll go basic and have them polished myself, thank you.
5) The parking brake handle is in a weird position for me. Why so far to the right?
6) I want more breakdown of options; less packages, especially suspension. I found the Z-51 ride objectionable on some roads, but absolutely must have the rest of the package. Mag shocks should be available with the Z-51 package. This, from an owner of the roughest riding Vette ever made; then made harsher. The technology is there to make our car have multi-personalities.
7) Too much tire noise, even before they wear. If I'm gonna hear something, let it be the engine and/or exhaust.
8) The Bose won't play loudly enough.
Congrats, again, Chevy!
