Callaway has just released a new 560 hp SuperCharged C6 package similar to the SuperNatural naturally-aspirated 490 and 550 hp packages. It's also available as a supercharger-only installation. I've attached some literature below.

One option that's not mentioned in this literature yet is a Z06 fender/fascia package that we're offering. Price is $6,695 for the Coupe Kit, $7,695 for the Convertible Kit when purchased with the SuperNatural or SuperCharged C6. The Kits include front carbon fiber Z06 fenders, rear Z06 OEM material fenders, Z06 front fascia and required inner fenders and bracketry.

If you're considering a Z06, this is an excellent alternative. Especially if you want paddle-shift or drop-top.

Wait a minute... have I had my head up somewhere? :ugh

You can get paddle shifters on a Corvette?! (if so, I just figured out what transmission and steering wheel/column I've going to have swapped into my C8... you know... if I ever have the money to get one built...) I thought the highest perfomance paddle-shifting system available from GM was in their Grand Prix GXP...

The 6-speed automatic in 2006 Corvettes has paddle shift.

Chris, is this the first F/I package Callaway has offered on a Corvette since the 1991 MY?

Alright, I went to a Chevy dealership today (my mom had to get her differential fluid changed in her Camaro SS, so no, I didn't make a special trip just to check out vettes :-p ) and checked out the new Corvettes with auto trannies, and sure enough, the first one I looked at had the paddle shifters. It must be an option, because back in 2004 when I test drove my first 2005 automatic, there weren't any paddle shift buttons. The other two 2005 vettes I drove were manuals, so I hadn't seen the paddle shifters before.

I like the system. Looks like I know what tranny, steering wheel, and shifter I'm going to have to have transplanted into my C8 ;). Hope it fits.

The 6-speed auto was introduced on the 2006 MY Corvette. So the 2005's didn't have it.

Also, unless your Camaro has the tranny under the trunk, it probably isn't gonna fit right up. ;)
