...as the topic says, What is your favorite Callaway??

I have thrown a few choices out there - if you have another specific one in mind, post it before you vote and I will edit the choices to reflect your selection :)

enjoy & thanks for voting :m

BTW - this thread is OPEN to ANY Callaway Owner or Enthusiast :)

Enthusiast!!!!!:w I had to cast my vote for the Sledgehammer. I love the Speedsters, but the Sledgehammer wasn't only the first Callaway, but the first Vette that really had an impact on me. I enjoyed reading the article about it's awesome 254 m.p.h. on Callaway's website, then to see it in person last summer in the museum was just awesome!!!! :v and Callaways!!!

Others

C8 & C9 :D Not the best known but still Callaways.Not that I'm biased..... :(

Tony - Updated the thread to reflect your choices - I tried *squeezing* a l l your Callaway models in ther but ran out of space on the tally line ;)

Hope all is well your way :m

kinda looks like everyone is voting for their own car. Truthfully, I should change my vote to my 88, cause its mine. That makes it best.

I didn't vote for my car... it was tough, kinda like telling your kid you wish he was something he's not! :cry But, I had to be honest with myself, if I could trade my SNAT 400 straight up for a speedster... :J

I love the all-mighty Sledgehammer but I have to cast my vote for the rare Camaro C8. I believe there are only 18 Callaway C8 SNAT's in existance according to Joanne's records. One Rare Breed!

Well, i didn't vote for my '81 vette.. :D

Just to be a little realistic í've set my mind on a 91 (or 90) Aerobody. Love the new style dash with the two turbo's! :)

And only 2 Commemoratives.:eek When is the big day:confused
Pics please.

After several months the aerobody upgrade is completed but my dilemma right now is whether to keep it 69 hugger orange or paint it an entirely different hue. So far the only 2 colors that are grabbing my attention are 96' Grandsport Blue (no center white stripe) or Corvette's 50th anniversary maroon. Does anybody know whether Callaway has its own line of colors? I know their C12's are painted in different hues but not sure where Callaway gets their colors from. Any suggestions from my family members would be highly appreciative. Thanks

Johnny

I like the idea of keeping the original color, however this is a perfect time to get the color of your choice. I believe that Callaway can come up with any color (to match) that you want, from a color sample. However this might only be available on special situations (speedsters).

I probably am just about the least familiar with Callaway operations of anyone on this site, so please feel free to correct me, but I figured the best way to learn it is to discuss! :)

Callaway does not have any of their own colors as far as I know. My personal view is that once it's an Aerobody car the color is entirely up to you. Stock colors just aren't important. When I had mine repainted it was originally going to be the Yellow Pearl that is on one of the Speedsters but I was talked out of that and went with Mercedes Benz Brilliant Silver Metallic. It's very easy to repair any damage because it is a two stage color (BC/CC) and I can get touch up paint at any MB dealership.

That new Burnt Orange looks pretty good on some cars. And it's within the same family of the color orange.
