Reeves left the car in Germany. I was in the right place at the right time. No longer need a big model in my garage. This is the only one ever built!

Now is that a rolling chassis or just a body with wheels on a mockup frame? Could a car be build out of that?

This is the piece used to design/create & style the molds used to make actual body pieces. The wheels rotate, thats about it. There is no frame, or suspension, it is completely solid. This is used to build a car, it could not be built into a car. Think of it as a full size model. I also have many pieces from the actual Callaway cars built form this styling buck. Neat piece if you want a part of Callaway history. This is the model used in the big BF Goodrich baner in the late 90's. A huge binder goes with the car showing the history of the C7R program.

Any interest? Provide me with your e-mail address and I will mail more photos. If someone will host them to post here, I will send them to them also.

I talked about this buck yesterday & have a good idea on who might be interested in it - I had passed your ad along to Joanne Mercer @ Callaway Cars ( jmercer@callawaycars.com ) - you might want to contact her to see. The person I have in mind recently bought the road going version in January @ Barrett-Jackson.

I do recall the Nabor Brothers selling this - did they include anything about other models Callaway had built? Let me know -
Thanks, Chris

Just curious, but from which material is this model made?
Often you hear it a full wood or clay model...

Greetings Peter.

Peter,

This is model is made of foam, resin, fiberglass, steel, and wood. There was a smaller clay model built to acheive the diamensions for the full scale model.
