CALLAWAY Vanity tags - What have you seen or have??

I read somewhere about a guy who had a C4 convertable, a ZR-1 and a Callaway. His plates were FAST, FASTER, and FASTEST. Very cool, if you've got all three. :)

I wanted SPR NTRL on mine, but it was taken. My bet is that it belongs to some kid with a Civic with a fin on it. I should find him and race him for the rights. ;)

I like it. Just checked on the Ohio BMV web page and its available.

I went with:

TWN T 19

For twin turbo #19

All of these were taken:
:cry
Turbo x 2
trbo x 2
Twn turbo
turbo twn
twn trbo
trbo twn
got twns
hve twns
hav twns

In Illinois we are only allowed 7 numbers or letters and for regular plates the number has to follow the letters. You can't intermix them.

I know exactly what you mean, having gone down to the DMV with a list of about eight or so choices. Finally came away with EVILTWN after much deliberation and a two month wait...

Jerry,

Just curious. This might be a case of mistaken identity on my part, but I thought there was a 1987 #24 red convertible from Maryland. The gentleman's name was Robert I do believe, and he was at the 2002 reunion at Carlisle. He belongs to the Free State Corvette Club in Maryland. Not trying to create a problem, just want to make sure it's not the same car and possibly has been repainted to black. Chris should know if I am mistaken. How about it Chris?

Jack, you are correct with Robert F.'s name however, his 1987 Callaway was a red / red coupe.

I heard from Robert last Summer and thought he was going to make Carlisle however, he was unable to attend :(

Enjoy! :m

New tag

Just recieved my new personalized NC tag `CALAWAYZ06', being a new tag they have switched over from blue letters to red with white background.:w

My plates are:

RPO BTOK

In Illinois we can not mix letters and numbers. See you soon in Bloomington and/or Carlisle.

Regards,
George
