Callaway has officially kicked off the project in conjunction w/ Carlisle Productions member, Lance Miller for the new C6 Carlisle Callaway Project :upthumbs
Details will be unfolding on this exciting prospect - the car is a 16 mile Black on Red C6 coupe - NICE!!!!! :)
It was placed on the Chassis Dyno today for a baseline and will do another set of pulls tomorrow as well :upthumbs
...stay tuned

Also on display, are about a dozen other Callaways, ranging from the 1987 B2K, through the SuperNaturals, up to the Speedster and the C12 :eek

NICE :v

I saw that the fun-field display of Callaways was very light this year? Less than 9 cars on Friday?

No Pete? Kevin? Luigi?

That C6 did baseline runs of 347hp. Not bad for a car with less than 100 miles on it. ;)

Have fun guys!

Sound like you're going to have a great weekend.
We'll be awaiting the pictures :)

Groeten Peter.

Aquaman,

What gives?

I saw at least a dozen Callaways here today and there were even more owners at the Callaway Owners Group dinner. BTW, when are you bringing your car down to Florida?

And did you get a chance to see what cars were picked to lead the parade along with the Miller Family? Yes, Callaways :D

Later,

Luigi
:cool

I made it home!

Hey guys, I just got in from my 7 hour journey home!! Between today and yesterday I spent a total of 14 hours on the road by myself going somewhere I had never been, and I just like to thank you guys for showing me such a great time!! I had an awesome time this weekend and even though I'll be going to Carlisle again in the future, this one will be one of the more special ones to me because of you guys including some kid who doesn't even have one of your cars..........yet. I enjoyed ever bit of this weekend!! Well everybit except for burning holes in my shirt when it got tangled up in that highly modified SNAT Creeper!!!:D I allready can't wait for next year, and maybe I might just have my own Callaway to park with you guys.

Thanks,

Reuben McCracken

It's always a good time when the C.O.G. gets together and it is also great to see how much interest is developing by non-Callaway owners in the cars and products. From what we also heard at the C.O.G. dinner from the Callaway representatives, the upcoming developments and projects are really exciting and should open up the Callaway name and products to more than just the enthusiasts. I also believe this will in turn start raising the value of the our cars.

Chris, as usual, did an outstanding job organizing everything for Carlisle.

And I will now anxiousally await the return of my car from Callaway as they brought it back to Old Lyme, direct from Carlisle, for some upgrades and "massaging"

Reuben - Glad you made it out to the show & home safely - GOOD SCORE on the Callaway photos :upthumbs

Your shirt sounds like it hold more value now ripped & run over than it did before - now where did those pictures go??

Mark - Thanks for the compliments onthe event - We did have a great time and while some owners were unable to bring their cars, it was great to see everyone again :m

I bet you are anxious to see, err - hear you car when you get it back - I will have to take you up on that SNAT comparo offer you made. Thanks again for helping me with my car, I appreciate it!

What a great weekend - By the sounds of things, next year will be even bigger with the things we heard are coming from Old Lyme ;)

As always, the folks from Callaway Cars were awesome and we appreciate the support!

The Dinner & Creeper Challenge was an absolute blast, we even had the hotel detective managing the security for us at the event, as it drew quite the crowd :D

Tony C. and Carl brought down the SuperNatural creeper and put up quite a challenge in the "pairs" run however, the most unique run I think goes to Reuben's cone dodging arm manuvers as he and FXGS drifted around the cones

I would like to thank Tony C. for the great postcards he generously gave to everyone at the dinner - very cool stuff - Thanks :cool

Thanks again to everyone who made the event :m :v :w

Chris,

Thanks for putting together yet another great event for us all to enjoy. It was great to get together with the staff from Callaway and Callaway owners from various parts as far away as California and from the other side of the planet "Down Under".

Since my schedule was too complicated to make it in town for the start of the festivities, Reuben volunteered to help with picture taking. Once we get the pictures gathered and processed a CD will be in the mail.

See you all next year!

After moving that car, I had drove it more than it's owner had in the past year!!! Great to see it back together!

I have some pics of the show but the damn internet in my dorm isn't working. As soon as it is working I'll host/post some of them. I have some really nice PS of the 3 areobodies that were down at the end on friday.

Kevin, Can't wait to see you pictures - it was too bad you had to leave the show on Friday, we had an absolute blast :upthumbs

The backroads were quick, didn't hit ANY traffic into the grounds any of the days - Had to keep the speeds low, patrols were up and down & all around on I81 :(

55mph:Steer :v :w
