2001 QuickSilver here!

I own the book "All Corvettes Are Red" James Schefter... AND even HE would admit to being fond of the SILVER vettes haha! Silver Bullets RULE! Especially with a TORCH RED interior...... I SMILE when I DRIVE! :v

Remo,

Just bought a Machine Silver '07 Coupe 6-speed paddle shift automatic for the wife to go with my '01 Torch Red C5 Coupe. No pictures...yet. Took the '01 to the cruisefest since it had a little more room for the wife, 2 Dachshunds, cooler, luggage and odds and ends.

BTW did you win the Andretti wine at the cruisefest?

Rhys - welcome to the world of silver. And no I didn't win the Andretti wine...darn it. Had a great time at Cruise Fest Colorado and it was a pleasure to meet you. Long trip home...but all went well...no tickets.

No Such Thing As Too Much Silver

Rhys,

Speaking of 2007 Machine Silver coupes...how about this beauty.

Here in the Northwest we refer to silver as Stealth Silver. It blends in with the sky, asphalt and half the other cars on the road. It saves on tickets. It may be fun to have millenium yellow, but I like flying under the radar. - Ron

Okay, I'm confused, your profile doesn't indicate a C6. Is this a picture of a recent purchase?

Ron,

The C6 belongs to Bob Fredricks from Maryville, MO. No changes for me - I still own my 2001 Quicksilver convertible. Also take a look at this thread if you're really into "silver" C5's. I've featured cars from all over the country.

Quicksilver - an unstable but fast element.
