C3's are a dime a dozen. Meaning there are TONS of 'em out there, in all conditions.Well I made him an offer somewhere near that price "range"
and he has not e-mailed me back yet.....Time will tell, but I
think I might have lost this one......
I'm not quite sure why you had to sell the ZR1, but then have $15K or so to play around with...(none of my bidness, but guessing you didn't need all the money from the Z for tuition. )
If you missed this one, don't shed a tear. You can find another one without much effort. It may not be as close as being in your backyard, but what's a little drive to go see a car that you really like?
My 2¢ is that if you are going to go to a C3, look to either '73 and prior (focusing on '69-'72) or a 1980 model. Me personally, I'd take a somewhat rough '72 over a mint '79 any day.
