Can I run 4 17X11 wheels on my 86?

They are the offset for 84-87. Would this be a terrible ride or what:confused Is this a stupid idea?

Depends, lots of people are doing this for autocross. however they do rub. and you may not like it on the street. If you prefer a beast............ well that's what will happen great grip, but lots of wander and attention needed to keep it in line on bumps and such.

I have the ZR1 11" on the back of my 85. MAN! They look HOT!

I however can't imagine them on the front as well.

My car is lowered and the 9.5" already rub up inside the hood. It does no damage, just keeps the paint cleaned off in there. 11" on the front would be a disaster for street driving, plus they would stick out a micro amount.
