Nothing like a Real Mint Vette!
Hi Detailling Dude
What l hate is an imperfect anything. My biggest problem is that if l bought a new vette l would have nothing to do but enjoy it!
Now that l bought a 96, Torch Red/ beige interior, there is allot to do. l will look into the Langka for the smaller stone chips, but underneath the vette doors it looks like the previous owner kept on driving over his kids toys in his one car garage. Fot this l might have to go to a body shop, plus on the drivers door, the extreme lower front there is a chip about 1 1/2 inch's by 1 1/2 inches where l thought was rubbing inside the door jam when the door would open but after inspecting it, l couldn't find any evidence of this.
When l first lifted the front hood, on both sides (not the hood) of the top of the fender where the hood rests when it close's, looks like the paint was chipped by the hood.
What l am going to do first is change all of the bumpers in the front and rear, because the present bumpers look like they are flatter then they should be.
lf at any time you think l'm over the top let me know!!
l also noticed that because the past owner was in construction and wore heavy boots he wore a hole in the carpeting by the right handside of the steering wheel, where the carpet turns to the front (side). l was going to order a whole front set of carpet because it bugsa me. Only l know it's there. This seem to be common.
Thanks again
The carpet is just dirty, really not bad.
