Chevy Bowtie Valve cover??

I've asked this before and can't find the original post maybe someone will remember.

I'm looking for Chevy bowtie valve covers. Jegs and several others have them but the don't have oil or pvc predrilled in the cover. I'm toying with buying them and placing a threaded bolt in one corner of the cover to fill the oil but am concerned about destroying the asthetic look of the cover. I guess I could always pull the cover to put oil in, but that would be too easy right? The ones I've found that are predrilled with the logo look like crap/cheesy so to speak.

Any ideas?? ANy links I can look at??

Like these?These are the same ones im gone to get ,ill just drill them for a pcv valve grommet and one for a oil fill.

I've looked at those and like them a lot. I guess my ignorance is scaring me in drilling the holes. The oil filler cap is usually keyed ie two flanges one on each side of the cap or the screw in type. The PVC type hole I have no problem with as it's just a straight drill hole and a rubber grommet.

How do you cut the flange for the cover? OR....Did you put a screw type in and if you did how did you thread the hole? Doesn't seem there is enough material there to cut threads into the cover............as I said forgive my ignorance here I just don't want to screw up the covers...........it's usually the first thing people see when they look at a new motor.

They are made from billet specialties.

Allthough they are not the bow ties you wanted,and there made for a big block.I have seen the ones you described

I am using these on my 76 with vortec heads. the oil fill hole uses a rubber ended type plug with an oil can printed on it. No need for slots and the locking on type filler cover that leaks anyway. No leaks or seapage on mine. http://www.paceparts.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=25260
