The bright light indicator on my 86 is burned out. I can get the cluster bezel loose but not out (the steering column is in the way). I have searched but can't find information on how to get it out. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Len

Here ya go, I had a problem with mine and I just followed these steps.

As far as getting the cluster out, tilt the wheel down and unscrew the tilt lever (take it right off, makes more room) then unscrew the dashpad so it can be pushed up an inch or 2. thenlean the cluster forward and lie it flat so you can see the metal clips on the back of the harness, lift them up and pull the harness out. (Go very slowly with the wiring harness they are old and brittle) Once disconnected pull the cluster out and repair as per link below.

All the bes, it's pretty easy, replace all bulbs while it is out.

Be careful not to scratch the face of the module while you're moving it around. You may want to tape a piece of thin cardboard over the display panels to protect them.
