Has anybody had any experience with the rear wind deflectors available for C5 convertibles. Do they work? How much? Where? Are the worth the cost?
Thanks in advance

I say you are very wrong! I have a vert and the newer model wind screen AND have ridden with the windows up and the heat on when cruising on a clear sunny cold fall day. Trust me....I am far from a sissy!Bob,
I noticed that you own a 1975 convertible and you've posted on the C5 forum. Is your question about your 75 or do you also own a C5? As far as C5 convertibles go I've found that, compared to other convertibles, there is very little wind from behind. Besides nothing looks more rediculous than people riding around with the top down, a wind screen and especially with the windows up.
I say, don't be a sissy, put the top down and go for it.

Well, excellent point about the "sissy". But its not for me, its for the other halfYea, I own the 75, but trying to sell it so I can buy a C5.
Well saidSure, it takes a REAL Man to drive with the top down and no screen.:bash I like the idea of a screen (if it works) so that my wife could ride with me and we could carry on a conversation.
As far as the real man thing...well, I teach martial arts. I fight three times per week so when I want to be a "Real Man" I put on the gloves and do it that way.![]()
With all due respect Remo, there are things that some people like and just because someone else might not care for those things dosen't make them wrong or make anyone less of a man or woman. Enough said now before this turns into something it shouldn't have already.Hey gang,
I know some of your wives don't like to get wind through their hair,
so here's an alternative. My wife puts on a Corvette logo baseball
cap and pulls her hair through the back into a pony tail. She looks
great and we avoid the wind screen.
