Just wondering if you really noticed much sound difference during regular city and Hiway driving.

I want to replace the old touring exhaust while at Carlisle and I am thinking of going up to Pace or Extrerme.

I realize at full throttle they will be louder but I am more interested at just reg. speeds.

Thanks

Went from stock to Corsa Extreme so can't do the comparison for you. However exhaust is great - perfect on cruise - no drone. Will make the radio last forever as it is always turned off to listen to the great vette sound.

Brent - There's no comparison between CORSA's Touring and Xtreme exhaust systems. Xtreme's still have no cabin resonance thanks to CORSA's Patented RSC™ Technology, but the sound they make is freaking Xtreme! :cool

Couple a great sounding exhaust system to long tube headers and your ready to wake the dead! ;)

Dwayne - is the extreme noiser while driving at normal speeds than the touring?

Sent you pm , guess u never got it, thus this post.

I have the Corsa Pace in my 2003, my friend has the Corsa Touring in his 2002. Both sound the same on startup, when idling and at normal freeway speeds inside the car. The only difference is at WOT, the Pace is a lot louder and throatier. There is no 'in-car' resonance.

Corsa Exhaust

:w I installed the Corsa Pace a couple of years ago. The only difference is I didn't install the X-Pipe with it, I left the factory H-Pipe in. What a beautiful sound when you down shift and get the burble out of it. There isn't a drone sound at all at any speed, but when you nail it, or just accelerate they let you know they are there. I tour around town with the top down all summer, and I also turn the radio off just to hear the pure sound of the exhaust. Good luck on what you choose.:beer

Is there No End?

Wow...another drone denial thread.;LOL

Headers,Xpipe, corsa pase car exhaust,at wot you can not hear the wife telling you to slow down. Then back at Lingenfelter she asks does it have to be so loud?;LOL

Touring and Pace are about the same at regular speeds, but the Pace Car is louder when you rip it. Xtreme cuts in louder and quicker. I know some guys that took the Xtremes back off their Corvettes and went to Pace Car because it was just too much for their taste (and their wives, who like to hear the radio). I had Pace Car on my '03 and loved them. Thought the Touring was just a tad too tame.

They All Drone To Some Degree

Dwayne....I'm sure someday there will be a 12 step program that all you guys that practice "resonance reality revisoinism" will be able to attend.:L

Honestly - the Corsa touring exhaust I have has no drone.

I was in a car the other day that had a magnaflow system and I did not have the heart to tell the guy it sucked big time.

Corsa rules , Baby!

Are All Corsa Guys In Agreement?

I'm really sorry guys. If I had known how protective you were about those Corsas I'd have never brought it up. BTW...if any of you are going to Carlisle this year I recommend you stop by the Corsa installation tent.:L

Justy being honest here, but I never had any resonance issues with my Corsa's; however, I did notice a bit of a drone with my Borla Stingers that I had on my 99 FRC. Not enough to bother me though. Didn't do the x piope and kind of liked the burble.... They were a little louder than the Pace Cars, probably closer to the Corsa Extremes.

:wRemo, there is only beauty in the the beholder. Anyone that doesn't back up their equipment ain't worth a plug nickle.............:boogie:boogie.Besides the rep from Corsa at Mamoworks got P@#$%# at me because I wouldn't have the X-Pipe installed, and I think they sound great and work the way they are supposed to. I hope to see y'all there this year. SC:WTT

If it was not for 6 Shooter and his suggestion to try his old exhaust
