Help! Cruise Control Not Woking

Hi Everyone,

Every once in awhile , my 08 cruise control stops working. Days or weeks between the problem.
Any ideas will be appreciated.

Thank you for your comment. I'm not sure what you mean by "checking for codes thrown". In any case, the CC is now working and I think it has to do with a brake pedal switch that disengages the CC. I'll have the switch checked at my next service appointment.

The brake light switch should be checked for adjustment as it is the most common problem, and usually the switch is good. Good luck with it.

Not sure if you have a manual or automatic but in my '05 it was the clutch sensor sending a check engine light code and it disengages the cruise control.
