Here is a link for all my C3 buds.... information about The Corvette Action Center CruiseFest 2012!

Start saving your pennies and change, it sounds like gas will be around $5.00 a gallon by June :eyerole... Save now and save the Excuse's :D :w

I believe that the price of gas is tied to any Corvette event, especially CACs CF or non-Cruise Fests. In 08 in Cleveland, the price skyrocketed to $4.10+ per gallon for top tier. Then in 09, the non-CF in BG, the price jumped; likewise in 2010 and 2011 in Effingham where Illinois increased the prices just for us. Why should 2012 be any different? But, life is short and driving the Corvette is one of life's greatest pleasures. As Birdman 18 (my brother) says, he refuses to participate in the bad economy and gas price raises, and therefore we plan to be in BG, hopefully for the whole week.

That'll be great! See you there.

It's official, I will NOT attend CruiseFest this year.

I got home about an hour ago from Wichita. It's a confirmed deal. I'll have a complete knee replacement in mid-May. I was opting for late June originally and going on my trip to California first, but the Dr. pointed out that I would "probably" enjoy the trip more if I had a good knee to site-see on. I had to agree with him, so it looks like I'll get the knee done May 15th. That's actually a couple days before school is out, but that's when the opening was, so I'll let someone else finish those last two days.

The recurring theme I keep hearing from healthcare professionals who look at my x-rays is #1 "I can't believe your not in tremendous pain." #2 "I'm surprised you're walking at all, let alone without cane or walker".

For those of you who know me, this might come as a surprise as I've had issues with my knees for years...I just never knew how bad it was.
