Damaged my 12 Grand Sport

We were riding to Columbia S.C. On I -20 with a bunch of vettes from our club when the roof panel glass blew out of a C3 in front of me ,it went straight up in the air like a kite and came down feet from my GS, the glass shattered into a thousand pieces of shrapnel covering the car,it damaged the splitter,grill, hood ,both headlights and fog lights,both fenders, broke the windshield and top. The estimate on damage was $8100 to repainted and replace splitter,grill, fog lights and headlights,the headlights alone were $2200. I dropped it off at the body shop yesterday with the hope they can get it back to the original condition.this car only has 3700 miles on it so I'm confident they can match the Artic white paint. Two weeks without my baby,hope to get it back in time for a vacation in Daytona beach October 3rd.

Boy! That's a freak accident! I'm sure they'll have no issue blending the Arctic White.

I just ordered a new Carbon fiber splitter from Corvette Mods to replace the old one,it looked like it took a shotgun blast to the corner.today it is beautiful outside,great day for a ride in a vette,but had it settle for a Honda Accord,
