Danica's driving ability questioned.

I drove formula cars and Nissan's on road courses and NASCAR tracks for four seasons and Danica Patrick has my respect for her driving abilities. The two different types of cars combined with two different driving techniques takes driving abilities that one never attains during normal passenger or sports car driving on public roads.

I'm sure that she can drive circles around most, if not all, of the members on this forum, including me.

Again...she should not be compared with forum members, including you. She is a full time professional in 2 top tier series with top-notch teams and has been a pro for over 15 years. If she wasn't a good looking woman, she'd be where others with one win since 2001 are - doing something else.

She isn't a bad driver, compared to her peers, she just isn't doing anything to warrant the attention. I hope she starts winning so everyone really has something good to talk about.

I think the fine Gentleman from Tennessee has a little first hand knowledge . Since he agrees with my perspective he can be my new best friend .:gap

Now I haven't read every post so forgive me but, who cares??? The shape of a women has been used to sell everything in this country, where have you been. Racing is using Danica at this point and it doesn't matter if she's better or worse than the next guy, The fact that your all debating it is proof enough. Sex sells and racing is all about money and their laughing all the way to the bank, while the crowd that American Marketing has assembled debates whos's better, again, who cares.

I know that and I expected as much, that's why I said "Forgive me", I'm well aware of what John Q Public is in need of, again forgive me. And to elaborate, as much as I like Vette's and fast cars I find Racing boring (Please don't hate me). It's too commercialized and too Okie, espeacially NASCAR and that is an opinion only. Again, this is not a challenge just an opinion.
