Is the surround bezel for the AC,dash center outlet, painted the dash color or it is to be semi gloss black?

Should be the color of the pads. However when using the interior paint code, it usually turns out slightly darker than the pad

Nope. The A/C center outlet bezel is always black, regardless of the color of the dash and pads. It may LOOK better color-matched, but none were built that way.

Are we talking about just the A/c outlet? or the whole center section of the dash? Because if it is just the a/c vent itself than I agree it should be black.
