I just got my 88 back from the paint shop and now I am focusing on the interior. Besides the seats the top priority is fixing the cloth that covers the dash speakers. The cloth has become unclued in one corner and I was wondering how hard would it be to remove these speakers and re-glue the cloth?

If you even have speakers under there, you need to pull the dash pad. Remove the screws at the front underside of the pad, then remove the two screws inside the defroster vent. Then what you need to do is pull the dash towards you and it comes out....Watch if you do have speakers, they are attached to the pad, you need to reach under and unplug the speakers.

I agree with JonM. I just recently did mine. The only thing I would add is to make sure you hot glue the new speaker cover (or the original) on the back side. I didn't, and ended up having to remove the dash again because a few days later the new material was starting to come undone. fyi - Mine doesn't have any speakers in the dash, just the doors and rear.
