Dealer says no deal...

I know it's hard to find, but honest car salesmen are out there..... That's why I replied. Again, I know at our store it was never intentional to mislead, but the wording on the agreement could be interpreted that way.... that's why I asked to see it and read it for myself!! Have you found your Callaway yet? I will be more than happy to assist you with building the perfect dream car if you haven't.

BTW, Reeves Callaway is scheduled to be at Dimmitt Chevrolet, September 20th for their big car show :w

You are overstating the case. I think the car buying game isn't about honesty. Some car salesmen are liars and crooks - as are some bankers. We just have to understand that both car salesmen and bankers make money that, at the end of the day, comes out of our pockets. Most sales people want to maximize commissions and profits, while most buyers want to maximize discounts. I've bought dozens of cars, and run across many hard nosed, hard bargaining and tricky sales people, but only a couple crooks. Don't sell yourself or your profession short. You misstated the list price policy - no big deal. I made a mistake once too.

Where's Dimmit Chris ?

Dimmitt.

I look forward to meeting Reeves and maybe getting him to sign my hood.
