so...the "dedicated area" for burn-outs in front of the NCM isn't really that at all? I was told a first-timer was expected to lay one out...When I was there in August, the staff in the NCM store said they expected it...they put up speed bumps to "discourage" it, but they know it's going to happen, regardless. I saw a few REALLY good ones while I was there (my own wasn't too shabby :_rock ) and I didn't see anyone experiencing a coronary...

Whatever it takes for Chas to recover his property...subtle or not... Vetteheads gotta take care of one another...

Happy New Year.....ya'll

Susan

Chas,

Has this been resolved? If not, please let me know. I will be happy to help.

Thanks for loaning the press kit to us, and sorry it was not returned...

I'll await your response.

I certainly hope it hasn't been lost or stolen. Do you have proof of delivery?

Sounds like there's a quick resolution in the works. Congrats! That's gonna save us all some tread...

What the burnout "threat" will do is allow NCM staff/supporters to get their shorts in a knot.......meanwhile, Chas gets the necessary attention to his problem and likely gets his property back.

Too bad NCM didn't pay attention a long time ago.

Oooooooo, our asphalt, our asphalt! :eyerole

;)

Two lessons learned:
1) not everyone recognizes a joke
2) don't ignore the little guy whose property you have

Well said 67, well said.

Been to the National Corvette Museum many times. Everyone there is friendly, helpful, kind and a CORVETTE LOVER AND PROMOTER!

Sure this will get resolved to everyone's satisfaction.

Looking forward to my next visit at the April, 05 Birthday Bash!!!

I thought burn outs where banned at the NCM?;)

I thought speed bumps made good wheel chalks for burnouts ?!?

It's been a long time - what's up NCM? I've lost a lot of respect for the Museum because of the handling of this little issue.
