Who Hooo!!!
Brake light is fixed now too. I picked up a couple of thin nuts from Ace Hardware yesterday (paragon wanted $11 to ship the $1 nut kit) for 2 bucks and after putting the kiddo to bed, went to the garage and got under the dash. Turns out there was a clip looking thing inserted in the brake switch bracket. I pulled that out and just for kicks tested it on the brake switch to see if the threads would grab the 3 prongs on the clip. With just a little adjustment, they did so I put that back in and put the switch back into that and tested the brakelights and they worked!!! I didn't need the nuts but I have them on backup in case I need them again.
If I get home in time tonight, I'm going to take her out for a longer drive to make sure all is good. Then she'll be ready for Friday's "Drive your Corvette to work" day.
Hopefully no new problems arise. Wish me luck!!!
