I have that cam....if I remember correctly its the 7102 cam....

my specs.....

heads.....Dart Iron Eagle 180 runners (massaged) 64cc chambers
manifold.....RPM air gap
carb....mighty demon 650
rockers...comp cam 1.6 rollers
corrected lift for rockers 531 exh 544 intake
trans....muncie 4 speed

I dont know anything about this setup with an automatic so Im sure someone will chime in....
I DO have enough vacumn for my headlights as well as brakes

This is a very extreme street setup....our circle track car has almost the same spec cam in it........

It is VERY lopey........but man is it wicked.....

I have it coupled with an Edelbrock Performer Manifold; standard Qjet, 4 spd coupled to Flowmaster 40s. Yes it is very lopey does it help to get me down the road? Yes, very responsive! Like Waterboy says ...wicked! It takes getting used to on the lopiness of the cam.

I have Flowies 40's too.......Dont know how it would react with an automatic though......

I've been overhauling my 69 since last spring. My 350 SBC and Muncie 4 speed have been completly rebuilt. I went with lots of Edelbrock stuff.

Carburetor: Edelbrock AVS Thunder Series 650 cfm
Intake Manifold: Edelbrock Performer RPM
Camshaft: Edelbrock Performer RPM .510 lift
Heads: Edelbrock Aluminum Perfomer RPM w/64cc chambers
Fuel Pump: Edelbrock 6 psi

Hurst Competition/Plus Shifter w/Corvette Repro Handle
VB&P 550lb Street and Slalom Coil Springs
VB&P Bushings
VB&P Steering Box
Bilstein Sport Shocks
Stainlees Steel Brake Lines
Chambered Exhaust

POR-15 (tie coat rpimer, chasis black, metal mask, and chevy orange engine paint).

I may be able to drop the engine/tranny back in as early as next weekend. I can't wait to fire up this new system. It was a long summer!

I think it depends on which Flowmaster 40s one has. I need to take my car by the shop because I think mine are 40 high performance which could be why they are so loud. Of allteh Flow 40s I have heard before none were as loud as these on my car.
