Emissions sticker

Can anyone tell me where the emissions sticker goes under the hood?A pic would be sweet! I notice there are 2 different stickers for the auto trans auh or aud anyone know what the difference is?

The label is placed on the left side of the hood (driver side) approximately 1.0" from the forward edge of the hood latch pad and approximately 0.5" from the inner hood edge. This is IAW my Mid America Assembly Instruction Manual. I am still searching the AUD AUH codes...

IAW Corvette Central's Catalog, the AUD is for a 1981 Vette equipped with the Automatic transmission on all Federal models, and AUH is for 1981 Corvettes with Auto tranny and sold in the California market.

Here's a picture of the AUD sticker on our '81 Federal emissions car. Please note that applying the sticker straight was not a priority. It was just slapped on quickly by a line worker. Hope this helps.
