Help! Engine sputtering and car shaking at low speeds

Hi,
I am having a problem. I just started using my car again after a couple of years. It was stalling and my mechanic changed the injectors and it was running fine. I changed the cap/rotor/pcv value over the weekend and at first it seemed fine. But now at low speeds the engine sounds funny, kind of like sputtering and the car shakes a little bit. If I open up the throttle it seems fine.
My mechanic told me I needed new plugs, so I am thinking that could be it, but the problem just started happening so I am wondering if it is a different problem.

The egr valve might be stuck open alittle, or the egr solenoid is causing it to open. Try unhooking the vacuum supply to see if there is any diffence, you might have to pull the valve out & inspect it.
