I have a 1970 LT-1. I was a californis car so I believe it had A.I.R.. The fan belt pulley plate on the water pump only has two groves with one belt going for the Crank / water pump, and the other for the crank, water pump and alternator.

questions:
1. Did all LT-1 s come with AIR
2.How do you adjust the tension on a belt going only between the water pump and crank pulleys?

What he said.

Make sure the replacement belt for the crank/water pump is not too tight. IT will take out the water pump bearings fairly fast if it is. And too loose it's wasted space. I have the number for a BB but not the SB crank to water pump belt.
