Figured Out The Hood Support Rod

I had previously had troubles with the hood (support rod) closing on me while i was working / detailing the engine bay

When the hood was completely opened, the lower support rod section would not spring over to the lock position

I rotated the locking mechanism (clip) at the top of the lower rod 180 degrees and what do you know....the damn thing sprung over and locked in place

If all my Callaway problems are so easily fixed, then I am in heaven....lol

Keep Dreaming No Corvette has problems solved that easily all the time. Nice try but I think it's a bit :crazy.

Glad you got the hood to stay up though... wouldn't want it to hurt the ole' noggin any more then it already is :bash
