I had a problem about a month ago with my keyless entry not working. After I was informed on how to reprogram the remote it worked out fine.Just recently, it quit working again.I parked my car for about twenty minutes and locked it with the remote, when I returned,I hit the remote and nothing happened.I reprogrammed it and it worked.Somehow, the keyless entry is "forgetting" the settings and I have to do this everytime I get in the car.At this point I have to hold down the two buttons for seven seconds,to program it and then unlock the car,it is very annoying :hb.Has anyone ever experienced this? If so,give me the scoop please.

Thanks,
Casey :_rock

Put a new battery in the FOB!:thumb

New battery may be the issue but I have one of mine that I could never get programed and I did install a new battery. So if you get this figured out let me know too, quit messing with mine cause ;shrug I had one that worked so I moved on after messing with it for quite sometime.

FYI for a little extra convenience:
Turn the key in the driver's door once towards the front to unlock the driver's door: turn twice and the passenger door opens; a third time to open the rear hatch.

Re: your original problem, you should have 2 fob units. put fresh batts in them and program. When you put the batts in make sure the contacts are clean and actually touch.
if both lose the function you have a deeper problem.

Mine also had a problem that was intermittent and the problem was the solder joints of the crystal oscillator in the top right hand corner (key slot down).
Thanks,

I'm going to check that out.I put new batts in recent and it still loses the settings. It is very annoying, especially when it is raining.
