I'm doing a suspension repair/upgrade on my 94 convertible and rear shocks are bad. I have seen mention of FX3 Bilstein rebuilding services. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Are performance upgrades available? Trying to finish installing all new poly bushings, rear hubs, tie rod ends and ball joints.

Here's the straight story on Bilstein rebuilds.

Bilstein does offer a rebuild service for some, but not all of the 89-95 Selective Ride Shocks. Bilstein is no longer making the replacement shock rods for the later (92-95) SRC rear shocks and the existing stock has been exhausted, so for the rear of a 94, you'll need to buy new SRC shocks and they are still available from vendors such as CAC sponsor Zip Products.

Bilstein does rebuild the fronts on 92-95 Vettes with SRC so your front shocks are rebuildable.

Contact Bilstein Corp. of America at 800 537 1085 and ask for the service/rebuild department.

Welcome to CAC, B-Bill! Like Hib said, contact Bilstein. Post some pictures of your ride when you have time.
