It doesn't always do this, but every once in a while.
When I go to fill the gas up, once I remove the cap there is alot of pressure (air) that pushes out of the hole. Is this normal?
never had this on my jeeps.

A little pressure is ok...you may want to remove the return line from the cannister to the tank and see if you can blow air through it to clean it out. Last year I had to replace that line it was clogged solid. I used some flexible copper tubbing.

mine has been doing that since new. But now I'm going to check the line JonM is taking about.

Good. I am relieved :cool . With all the little things going wrong with the car I didn't need another one. And as for checking the return line, I will add that to the list for this weekend.
thanks

Some/all new cars have a pressurized fuel system. On some/all if you put gas in and leave the cap off or not full tightened the engine will run for a short period and shut off.
