Got the results from the Buttonwillow race - not too shabby!
I was entered in a Corvette Challenge Series, and got 1st place. It was limited participation - so not a huge victory, but I'll take it!
I ran a 2:19:8xx lap at Buttonwillow. Fastest lap time that day was a friend in a mod'd Viper at 2:07. I'm pretty happy with my 2:19 for a first outing at that track!
Overall for the T6 bracket I placed 4th, missing 3rd by 9/10th of a second to another Z06.
Headers will go in this weekend, as will the rest of the mods. I really could have used some additional power at this event - hard to hang with the Vipers that have been modified, but I'm aiming to fix that problem real soon!!!
November 30 and Dec. 1 is another track event at Buttonwillow. I'll be there and will let you know how the power equates to track time improvements.
By the way - when these stock tires get hot, they handle VERY well!!! You don't necessarily need to get track tires to kick some tail at these type of track events! 36lbs. front and back, and they rock!
