Just curious about this - and to answer my own question: For me, no. Since I seldom drive mine, I probably go through a few tanks of gas a year with my Callaways so what is another $40.00 or $50.00 over what I paid last year :ugh

On my daily driver tough, I do "feel it" a bit more however, on the "toys" I do not feel the impact really at all. That is not to say that if it went higher, I would further question this, this is just where I am at now...

As the media "reports" gasoline heading to $6.00 or $7.00 a gallon and being driven up by speculators, I wonder when the bubble will burst :mad
Maybe that is another topic in itself, but in the meantime...

Poll to follow...:beer

MY CORVETTES GET BETTER FUEL MILEAGE THAN ANY OF MY OTHER VEHICLES, EXCEPT THE HARLEY.
IF FUEL GETS TO HIGH, I WILL GO BACK TO RIDING MY BICYCLES.

I agree with Big John. My Pick Up gets about 15 MPG. The Callaway probably gets better... maybe I should drive it more often. :L

It hurts all around. The truck gets 14mpg if you take it easy.
The ZO6 gets about twice that. Soooooooo, I've driving the
bullet to save fuel and the global economy.......

And I'm taking up drift fishing instead of trolling !!!

The Callaways or corvettes get great mpg. I still drive them the same. I don't think the fuel price will ever affect the driving of corvettes. I had to purchase a couple of Hondas for daily drivers and let the Escalade sit, except for long trips. Now I am second guessing the supercharger and camshaft that I installed last summer.:D Well at least it is fun to drive.

...I do not even own a vehicle with less than 8 cyl. :eek

I got rid of my 4 banger last year for that "official car of Texas" :W

...thinking about buying a big-bore CBR for commuting ;shrug

"official car of Texas"???...you bought another Callaway last year?

they (the callaway cars) must all be coming to Fla. ;)

P.S. There's got to be some spring time event that would allow some of you to thaw out and head for Fla.
