How can I determine if it is actually "working"? I spliced into the 12v hot with the key on. What is the best way to make sure it is working?

Robertwav1 said:That was pretty funny.....wrong.....it's heated by the exhaust.
Vettefan87 said:No, I have a heated O2 sensor due to the fact I am running coated headers.
Mic how long is this thing take to heat up? I pulled it out and turned the key on and it was a good 3-5 minutes before it got "hot" enough to where I couldn't hold it anymore.

Vettefan87 said:It started to get warm about 30 seconds after the key was on and progressively got "hot" to the point of you couldn't touch it. So now I have no clue why my car is flat once it hits third. It is like I am trying to pull a boat or something when it shifts out of second. Suggestions Mic?

Mad-Mic said:check cap/rotor/wires/timing. get a scanner and look for codes. although it might not be showing a code on the sys light doesn't mean it's not throwing one like it did mine with the MAF relay sensors.
