My name is Greg, I am one of the newer members of the Corvette Action Center. Glad to be on the road with you. I live in Maryland, and have a 1967 BB Coupe, which I have had stored in my shop for the last 25 years. I purchased her (with my fiance's best wishes) about one month prior to our wedding day. I have never had her (the '67) on the road. It seems that once you say "I DO", children somehow magically appear, then colleges want money for tuition, etc; etc;. Anyway, in three more years, my family fiscal responsibilities will be less demanding and the '67 will be restored to her original condition, if I can afford the parts, it seems her value has appreciated over the past 25 years!!!! Have a great day, Greg ;) :) :L

Welcome to the CAC!

Enjoy getting that car back on the road! It'll be fun! :)

:welcome

Wow! You're more disciplined than I am - I'd have been driving her for the past 25 years! :Steer

Good luck getting her road worthy... you've come to the right place for support in that department. :)

Welcome aboard. Enjoy !!!! :beer

Welcome to the CAC Greg. :w
Was your 67 running when you put her away 25 years ago?
Have fun looking through parts catalogs.

Greg,
Welcome. Only 1 post and you're already a supporting member :upthumbs

I think it is fantastic that you still have your 67 after all this time. There are so many sad stories of people who had to sell what would later become a classic vette for financial or marital/children reasons.

Good luck with your restoration.

Tammy

Many Thanks

:v Thank You Erik S. Klein, billyz06-2003, XLR8, jrose7004, GerryLP, bill81vette, BlackZ51Vett, 82ColEd, 67vet, Daryllawman, 67HEAVEN and MsSchroder for all of your encouraging responses. 67Vet in response to your question, Yes she was running prior to being stored. The engine that came in the car is not the original one though. I removed the engine and pickled it. When I bought the car it had a CE 454 cu.in. installed but it came with a 1969 427/390 short block and a 1967 427/435 bare block casting # 3904351 , 4Bolt.

Many Thanks Continued.....

I sent previous message before it was complete, I hit the TAB key.
67Heaven, I have visited your restoration website many, many times and watched as you made your '67 "Your Own" she is absolutely georgeous. I can only imagine that she handles asgood as she looks?!!?
See Ya, Greg :D

Welcome to CORVETTE ACTION CENTER Greg we're glad you could join us! Just an awesome story about your 67 being in hibernation for the last 25 years and now you are about to breath life back into her. It just doesn't get much better than this:W and we will require pictures along as to stay up on your restoration. This may be a lot of work but a journey of a life time and worth taking, a borned again 1967, fantastic times ahead of you for sure.
Bill :w

Greg,

Here's another welcome...a little belated, but still sent with warm wishes! We're all looking forward to hearing and seeing the progress on your '67! :)

Elaine

Wow great story, welcome to CAC. Appreciated in the last 25 years? I'd say that was an understatement! I had a 64 coupe when I got married 32 years ago, but I couldn't hang on to it....glad you were able to. Can't wait to see the restoration project.
