Hi Folks,
I'm new here. this is my first post.
I finally finished rebuilding and installing a 427 for my 67 roadster. I've had it since '88'
I'm preparing to purchase a Tremec and wanted to check in before slapping down the money. My car, although close to numbers matching, it is not. So I'm prepared to swap the tranny with one having an overdrive to keep the motor from screaming on the highways. I think it should drop the RPM's from 3,500 down to 2400ish. the transmission I was targeting was an OD ratio of .68
Any words of advice?
