Hi there,
No, you cannot use one out of a different vehicle.
Simply purchase one from your local autoparts store, or the local Chevy dealership.
They are not that expensive.
As far as the rest, yes, get some data on the PCM, and the CCM, if you can please, and post the info here.

Howzit!! Did you ever get that e-mail of the computer scan that you requested that I sent you?

Hi .... I'm Bob from Kentucky. The item you are now talking about is you vaccumm ball which holds vacuum to run your vacuum powered controls like your heater and AC . The canister with the charcoal returns fuel vapors back to the gas tank to be reused as liquid fuel.It has a hose which runs from the throttle body to the canister. It has two other hose hooked to the caister. One is a vacuum source the other returns to the fuel tank. On my 86 C4 it is located in the front of the left fender towards the outside marker light. It is easy to replace. As for your main problem I would check all the electrical connection. The main ground on the left rear side of the engine...Good Luck....... By the way my great Grandmother on my Mother's side was Hawaiian. My Mother was born on the lsland of New Caladonia in the coral sea.

how did your grandmother arrive at that place for your mother to be born there? did she move there? also, you say behind the left side in back of the engine, left side facing the car? (Passenger side) or sitting in the car?(drivers side)

C-4/5 specs? did you get the computer scan that I had e-mailed you about a week, week in a half ago?

Hi there,
I got something, however, it was unreadable.
I think it was still in Java form.
As in the email I sent you, please attempt to have them print it out, and then scan it.

My Great Grand Father was a Buccaneer who sailed the south seas. He met my Great Grand Mother in Hawii and took her to New Caladonia to seek his fortune. He start a vineyard with grapes from Italy. He ended up owning a hotel on the Iland. The wires I'm talking about or on the drivers side. It's an area Hard to get at . It is rigth above the oil filter. It is hard to get a wrench in this area. So if it get loose it can cause all kinds of cazy things to happen. For your sake I hope this is your problem because it cost nothing to fix. Good Luck and may the good winds always be at your back.
