88 Convert ( SOLD ) /1973 coupe 4 speed/1964 Vert!
In my search....In the LA area, through a friend at work he told me of this car, showed me pitcures, and off I went.

I viewed the following

1963 Convertable
Matching Numbers
4 speed
327
(guessing base engine/sheet metal rocker covers )
Power windows
AM/FM
Power antenna
Teak wheel
Telescope
Marina Blue( Factory paint )
Blue interior
factory stamped rims
105K orig miles
2nd owner

Now the bad news
Not orig carb
Front clip has been replaced
Not orig convert top
Carpet's old
Weather striping is fairly rotted
Tires are seperating

This is a retired couple the (guy's 80 ish) who own the car... they want AROUND 20K for it....They could use the bread.

This is not the car for me, but I said I would help them sell it.

The do not want a bunch of lookie lou's and would prefer to deal with just 1 person... so I'm throwing the bait out there to see who will bite.

are we sure it is a 63??

Hi Mike,
I am confused. In 63 you could not get a power antenea, teak wheel, telescopic steering. Those items were not offered until 1965 and later.

Marina blue was available in 1967......Nassau blue, a little lighter, was available in 65 and 66.

So, do you have a vin tag number, and a trim tag number?? Does the car have disc brakes??

Perhaps it is a 65,or 66 car with a 63-4 front end on it.

I do have a customer looking for such a car if you want to let me know.
Thank you,
Jim
