I have a 2002 c5 and some times when I try to put on my high beams they don't come on. Then at other times they work fine. If you start up the car before you sit in it and turn on the high beams, then get in and hit your preset on your seating they work fine. But if you get in and then start the car and do your seating preset then they don't work. A while back they would work on my wife's preset for her seating but not on mine. I then got into the car on my wife's preset seating and turned them on and then I reset my seating with them already on and they started working fine but now there not. Should I get my high beams to come on and then reset our seats again? Or is there something else wrong with them? Thanks for any information that anyone has on this.

This does not sound like normal behavior. Has it thrown any codes?

HI there,
It sounds like the switch is creating a problem, or there is a broken/chaffed wire.
The lower kneee bolster should be removed and the wiring checked on all parts of the dash.
Please keep us posted on this.

Thank you c4c5 specialist

I will take my vette to the dealer to have them check it out for me.

I just got my vette back today after the dealer having it for a week. They found a connector with a bent prong on it. It wouldn't make a good contact all the time. They replaced the connector and now everything is working great. Thanks for the advice c4c5.
