True on the crappy roads here in MO. I guess I do get a few more than 2500. I had it changed around 19,000, it's at 21,000 miles now, and around 75%. So maybe another 1500 or so to 60%.

I hit mine (rev limiter) pretty regularly. Been doing it for thousands of miles with no ill effects.
2001 MN6 w/55k miles

speaking of rev limiters i just installed hyper techs power programer in my 98.with the few mods ive done its a kick.MYQUESTION IS MY REV LIMITER IS SET AT 6600 I SET MY SHIFT POINTS AT 3 FOR SHIFT1-2 2-3 3-4.THATS 300RPMS FOR EACH .IT FEELS GOOD BUT WOULD GOING UP BE BETTER.ANYBODY USE A POWER PROGRAMER?

Hmmm...on the autocross track, I seemed to hit the limiter about every run this past Saturday. I can't see that it's done any damage. I'm pretty sure, Corvettes use about a half quart of oil every 3,000 miles. I change oil at the 25% remaining indicator and at 19,000 miles, there's no unusual noises or oil consumption.
