Hood lamp wiring

I purchased a hood lamp for my 77 vette, but I'm not sure how to wire it. Can anyone help.

I offer full color laminated wiring diagrams for the Vettes. About 22x34" in size and in full color to match the wires. Also include fuse/circuit breakers (and their ratings), lamps (with their numbers), and all electrical options. On the C3s I also include the vacuum diagrams for the headlamps, wiper door and the heater-a/c controls.

The underhood lamp (RPO ZL1) gets the 12v through a 16 gauge Orange fusible link tha is connected through a connector fed from the alternator (the connector will have a 10 gauge Red wire also coming and going from this connector). You should be able to find a four Red wire splice coming from the alternator that the mentioned connector is attached to. There should also be present a 18 gauge Black wire that is attached to ground. So make sure both are attached for it to operate.
