Help! horn just starts to beep (like the security alarm)

my horn just started to beep, like the alarm going off. No one was near the car, it just started to beep

Use your key to open and close the lock on the drivers door. That will usually reset the PKE system to recognize that the car is not being broken into.

It appears you are a new member to the forum and I welcome you. If you are new to the wonderful world of C4 Corvettes you will find a lot of help here. If this is your first C4 did it have an owners manual with it? They are usually found in the rear storage compartment behind the passengers seat. If you open the lid and there is a tray in there remove it and look for the manual under that tray. It may be in a black case that only fits under the tray (at least that is the case with my 93). If you don't have an owners manual let me know and I will try to find a pdf copy. I think a lot of your questions might be answered there. Believe me when I say owning a C4 is a learning experience. I have had mine for several years and am still learning things about it.

I don't know all I have is the one for my 93 and I can't remember were I got it from. I did google C4 owners manuals and there are several sites that might have what you are looking for.
