How Do I take off chrome trim from T-Top

Hello all. I am preping my vette for paint and am stripping all the paint. How do I take off the chrome trim from the T-Tops?

You need to drill out the rivets

If its not too late dont do it.If you drill out the rivits it leaves the remaining part of the rivits inside the shell of the t top and you cant get them out.I have had this problem before and had to drill a small hole in the corner of the t top and filled the hole with glue and shake the top to get all of the rivits to stick to the glue,it was a pita.

Havent done it yet once I was told I had to drill it out. So now Im not doing it. I have one rivet that is broke. So Now Im trying to think about how to fix the one rivet. Any help with that would be appriciated.

You dont have much of a choice on the broken rivet except to drill it out and put a new rivet in it.
