How unique is my C4 ?

Hi everyone,
I am new to the forum and maybe someone can help me figure out how quique my C4 convertible really is. I have tried using the Corvette Black Book extrapolation formula but not sure if I am doing it right. I have a '93 Corvette convertible in Bright Aqua Metallic with white leather interior (not sport seats).

According to the numbers I have found, they made a tot of 21,590 corvettes in 1993. Only 5,692 were convertables. Total production of Bright Aqua Corvettes (coupes & convertibles) was 1305. A total of 766 Corvettes (coupes & convertibles) were built with white leather (not sport seat) interior.

Can someone help me figure out about how many Bright Aqua convertibles with White leather interior were made in 1993? Not sure if it matters, but I also have a White convertable top.

Thanks so much....

Welcome to CAC.....As the saying goes I don't think you can get there from here. I don't think GM kept that specific of data back then and if they did never published it. There probably weren't very many of them and depending on what other options were ordered you can get unique very fast......That is a great looking combo so shine it up and go show it off.........:thumb

Well if I did everything correctly and without going crazy, looks like my '93 convertible is one of 159 built that year in Bright Aqua Metallic, White CV Top, White Leather interior (non sport seats) and auto trans. Please feel free to check my math (LOL).

Very cool web site!!!! Thank you!

Ok for you to go crazy. After all, we all own Vettes!

Lots of information on that website.

Glad to help you out.

While driving your 1 of 159 Vette, please be sure to SAVE the WAVE! :w

When I did the formula from the Black Book, I came up with one of 20 built???? Like I say, driving me a little crazy but both numers are attractive.

Glad you got an answer and found what you needed.......I stand corrected. :confused

The Compnine formula indicates the option code of 43U as for Bright Auqa Met and Burgundy Met. They didn't make a Burgundy Metallic in 1993. I tried it a couple different ways and come up with different answers.

Only by percentages.
As previously stated ,there is no data from GM as to actual combos or numbers of those combos produced
Your combo could be 1 of 21,500 produced

Thanks!!!!
Actually, the AC admiinistrator (XLR8) calculated it using the formula and came up with less than 12 produced. Also, Mike Antonick (author of The Corvette Black Book) worked the formula from his book and determined less than 10 were made like mine. Either way, we seem to have a special C4. As you correctly said, this is going by percentages. But this is all anyone can go by for now. With only 13,200 orig miles on mine and in mint condition and being totally original except for gas, oil, antifreez and battery, I am taking very very special care of it.

Have owned 7 Corvettes previously of all different generations over the past 20yrs and this is by far the lowest production of all.
