I forgot how neat that looks.

Rule of thumb is that you get a 1% power increase for every 10*F reduction in intake air temperature. :)

Dense cold air = more HP
I feel it with NA cars :) but I REALLY feel it :D with the supercharged and turbo cars.

Best regards,
Gerry

What a spectacular day for a cruise. I may never park this thing. ;)

My sentiments exactly, when the road is clear a nice midday drive does wonders for the attitude. I could never really "put away" mine ;) I'll be jumping in mine in about 5 mins to go to work.

You know Craig, you're right. Since my insurance company forces me to cover it for a full year, I "will" drive it when the roads appear to be reasonably free of salt. I don't care if it's February. Dry roads.....sunny day....I'm heading out to cause some double-takes.

I'm thinking if the weather's good around Christmas, maybe I'll rent a Santa costume for a ride in Heaven. HoHoHo :crazy

:D

Some little kid will see you riding in 67Heaven in your Santa suit and think "he traded in his reigndeer power for some real power". But yet you can't get air borne.... or could you?

Well I'm glad to hear you say that. There's no reason not to drive in the winter except..Ice... Snow...wet sloshy roads Etc.

My Vette's go out in the winter when the roads are clear. I give em a nice warm up...and then a little stomp here and there...run em back home and tuck em in till the following week..
:beer

Now YESTERDAY was gorgeous in the Garden State....mid 60's, top down, a song in my heart...no more fouled plugs from pulling oil in from the lifter valley....both cars are on the road year 'round

Yeah...if there not over here broken down in my driveway...;LOL

Piece of old carpet used on the jack stand to prevent damage to the frame. It's like one of those old rope type rugs.............

Now, now. :nono

I consider your driveway to be somewhat similar to a check point on a road rallye. You know, kinda stop in, check the mechanicals, have a beverage of my choice, put everything back on that fell off and then :lou

So far, so good. Besides, I notice that when I leave my car in your driveway overnight, it gets covered and pampered. They get better treatment at your place than they do at mine.

Not sure who's Vette, and who's under it??

As per the running post ..That is The World Famous "Kid_Again" "s SB Vert which dropped a shift rod and ended up in my drive way the night before.

As Pictured here under the car the next day.. Is the Kid installing a Temp shift rod from my inventory...

It never ends....when you own a Vette.. :beer

Yeah, I play the law of averages. On average, I have one car on the road at all times.

VNV has made me feel real welcome. I just break down, coast into his driveway and settle in for the night. In the morning, I rummage through his parts box, use his tools and drive off. I repeat the process every weekend so that I never borrow any single item for more than a week. Rotate the inventory, as it where.:dance
