i think.

"I've also had some questions about the angled spark plugs that come with the ZZ4 heads, and whether they interfere with headers. In fact, they don't interfere much with the Hedman headers I have installed (using right-angle plug wire boots), but the plug wires came awful close to the stock exhaust manifolds when I had those installed. So I used a trick I saw at a car show somewhere to keep the plug wires away from the hot manifolds, which is illustrated here: "

I'm confused. I understand you want to fit headers to an angle plug-head ZZ4 in a shark.

However, I don't understand ... are you wanting to fit with Hooker SIDEMOUNT headers ... OR ... with other Hooker headers?

The sidemounts' primary tubes have different radii near the flange-near the plugs ... also different routing of primary tubes ... both different than Hooker's other headers. Have you communicated with Hooker tech dept? Also, Stahl headers http://www.stahlheaders.com/index_old.html may be able to provide what you need ... but fasten seat belt before opening wallet.

hi, yep, the sidemount headers (since their the only ones that work with sidepipes). hmmm....

Actually, when you consider their quality of design & construction, Stahl's headers/sidepipes may be a bargain when compared to Hookers. For a small block shark, it seems Stahl's # 115 with curved extensions & in front of rear wheel exit sidepipes can be had for about $975 ... painted.

anyone here used their headers?
