Ok Brah, its your story .... I'll let you tell it however you want ;)

I'll be there middle of next month .... guess what ..... we've got 13 days before we go out, so there will plenty of time. How's Chuck's Cellar sound??? My treat, bring the wahine. BTW tell her I said aloha.

I wonder who that is? :D .... Or did you find somebody over there? Let me know if I need to bring the case.

Hey I sent you an email from work last week (maybe two). Did you get it? I was trying to go off memory ... you know how bad that is .... so I'm not sure if I got the addy right. The latest addition to the parts pile is a set of AFR 195 heads milled to 58cc, man they look sweet. The only part I'm missing is the short block .... that will be here when I get back in Aug. 383, zero decked, forged crank, LT4 connecting rods, with Mahle coated pistons should be about 11:1 CR so it will definately be premium fuel only. Then I get to test my tuning abilities once again.:lou I can't wait.

Check this out:

Valve Lift @ 1.5 ratio
@ 1.6 ratio0.492”
0.535”0.492”
0.525”
You definitely get more with the 1.6's.

That's for the hot cam. The 1.5's are for LT1's while the 1.6's are for LT4's.

Well actualy the LT-4 hot cam can be used for all three C-4 engines (L-98 LT-1 LT-4) the specs (525 in 525 Ext) are with 1.6 rollers.

24502586 Hydraulic Roller (LT4 Hot Cam)
This hydraulic roller cam is for service only for all V8 engines with roller camshafts. The duration at lash point in degrees (intake/exhaust) is 279/287; duration at .050" tappet lift (intake/exhaust) is 218/228; and maximum lift with 1.6 rocker ratio (intake/exhaust) is 525/525. Valve lash is zero/zero and lobe centerline is 112 degrees.

Technical Notes: The LT4 camshaft P/N 24502586 was designed to be used in a number of different engines. Therefore, the following change may need to be made to allow for correct assembly of the engine: For LT1 and L98 engines 1995 and before, the dowel pin in the end of the camshaft must be pushed in so extension from end of cam is .30+/-.01", the same as the production part. For 1996 LT1 and LT4 engines, the dowel pin is in the correct position, extending .620" from the end of the camshaft. This camshaft has a fuel pump lobe.
