Ok folks tell me what you think of this one.

1969 corvette coupe with matching numbers 427-400 hp,factory 4 speed , factory sidepipes,no power anything,Car sounds like in great shape except for some minor weather trim replace, sound frame and sound engine, with 75k on the car. here are some pics

VIN: 194379S715076 Trim Tag: Trim ZQ4 Paint 976 Pad Number: T0122LQ 19S715076

Price is 28k, is it worth the cash? My wife is going to kill me,lol!!

From the pics it looks like a real sweet ride. There's always room for negotiation but I say "GO FOR IT":J :J :J After a thorough check out , of course.

Looks & sounds like a nice 'vette. Price seems a little high, but not out of line. If it's what you've been lookin' for, go for it! Any documentation that goes with it?

That is NICE :D Appears to also be matching numbers on the engine. Much better than that one in Texas :)

tom...

Wow, that's a sharp one! I love the blue (but I'm not biased at all :L).

If I were you, I would have a pro appraisal done on it, like you did with the one at Volo, before forking out that kind of $$.

I hope this one works out for you!
Good luck!!

I am impressed with it,going to have to have this one checked out also.

Inspection is in the works for tomorrow by an NCRS judge who does vehicle inspections ,Keeping my fingers crossed on this one!!
Say a prayer for me tonight, lol!!

Hmmmmm

That doesn't look like a factory color ( for the year) It looks like Admiral Blue

( Which I LOVE that color ) but I do not think it's TECHNICALLY correct...

But she is sure a looker.....

Car was inspected today by NCRS Judge and He said the car was great !!! He said the original motor is rare in the 427- 400 hp config for the car and he is 98% sure it is correct,he said that engine originality was his specialty in NCRS judging.Overall the car is exceptional condition with only minor fix's, Wipers don't work imagine that, lol Also said Carbs where not original matching numbers but everything else correct. He said for around 2k the car would win awards. He also said that if it was his car he would be asking in the mid to high 30's for the car and the car is a great investment car ,which is what I am looking for!!! Needless to say

I am now the proud owner of a 1969 L68 427 4speed car!!!!!!!!

I am so happy !! I couldn't sleep at all last night thinking about it being wrong!! Now I can rest in peace, lol Working out the details now with the payment and shipping. If this damn snow would stop I would feel much better!!

NICE !!! what dealer did you get it from ??? Or was ot a private owner ? Have fun with it.... :cool

Dealer is Northwest auto sales of Ohio here is a link to their site

Tony, You have no idea how great this is!!! Been looking for months with bad luck at every turn, all the disappointments and phone calls and inspections finaly paid off.I feel better now having a car to show off at the 1st annual CAC show here in NY,feel free to come down and check it out in May!! I want to thank all of you folks for your support and assistance!!

Regards,
Terry

Congratulations!

That's a great looking car! I hope the weather clears up soon so you can enjoy it!

Wow!! Very nice. Definitely a beauty. Congrats on the Vette. You are a very, very lucky man. How does the wife think about it? Because a rule among us Vetters is that the Vette comes before the 'significant other'. :D No, just kidding. Good luck with everything and enjoy her to the fullest!! :)

By the way, I'm a new owner, too just in case you haven't know. My father and I bought a '78 Silver Anniversary on Feb 1, so I'm still very new to the game. ;)

Good luck and best wishes!! :D

I see the website lists your car as "SOLD." Congratulations! It is indeed a beauty.

The wife doesn't say much, she knows I am good at finding investments better than the stock market so she is content with the purchase.Been with me long enough to know i need my toys also, lol God bless her she is a good woman. going to have to build a new garage now for both my cars,my other is a 68 Camaro I restored from ground up,Also wife would like to have a place to park her car in the winter so it's a good excuse to build a new one.

I just received my new/old 1969 vette. All I have to say is WOW!!
Beautiful car in better condition than I thought. It needs minor interior parts but nothing major, body is perfect and runs great,It was well worth all the calls and disappointments over the last 3 months.I can't wait to drive it once the weather gets better and all the snow and salt is gone. Thanks again for all the help.See you on the road!!

Love the color Brother...........as for the price.......How much do you want the car is the real price.......If you can afford it and that is what you want.......go for it........tell the wife you got it for less of course or that you traded in that old Singer Sewing machine and sawed off 410 ga. shotgun for the down payment....:D Keep her happy.......:upthumbs The Vette looks great........Remember the six.
