I'd like a less shiny dash. What product is good?

The previous owner of my '96 kept the black dash & interior nice and shiny. It's looks wonderful in the driveway, but I found it impractical when driving it home last night. Streetlamps were reflected back up to the windshield, and it was quite distracting.

I seem to remember reading here of a product that would leave more of a matte finish, but couldn't find anything using a search. Any ideas?

I believe the product that you are trying to recall is 303 Aerospace Protectant. It provides a factory-fresh/matte finish along with UV40 protection.

Thanks! I did another search on "303", and if that's not the stuff I read about before, it sounds perfect anyway. I probably would have seen it in my other search results if I hadn't been trying to find the specific topic I was thinking of.

You're welcome. I doubt that you'll be disappointed with 303, it's a great product. I've been using it myself for the past 2 1/2 years.
