Identify Window parts

I think I see what you are saying. Up at the front of the door there is slot with nothing in it on the top of the door. I can't see any evidence that there ever was anything there. There are no lose bolts in the bottom of the door and there are no marks were a bolt head was ever in there. I will take both part numbers to my dealer and see if he can identify them. I will let you know what I find out.

Number 62 is available from my dealer for $17.00 That's the good news the bad news is that the part number for #41 is discontinued. Maybe I can find one at a salvage yard.

End of a saga

Today I got the Guide Stop and put everything back together. The window works just like it should. Have a couple of minor issues with the courtesy lights and a buzzer that goes off for a while after I shut the car off. Also the power door locks don't work so some other time I will remove the door panel and find out what wiring connection I didnt get back right.

I would like to publicly thank Junk for all his help on this project. This is the way I believe a forum should work. Junk I have never meant you but I think if we lived in the same area we would be good friends. Your keeping me on the right track to do this job was most appreciated. When I would post another question I looked forward to your reply because I knew you cared about helping me.

Merry Christmas

John, you are right, this is the way a forum is supposed to work. Junkie is/was very patient with your questions and helped you through what would have probably been a real nightmare, without his help. Thank you Junkie, and happy new year to both of you.
